Tjörnedala Konsthall/ÖSKG is proud to present Channa Bankier, an artist influenced by Jewish and Eastern thought and discourse. In mythically, magical and expressive images she portrays the existential conditions of humanity. Bankier’s world of symbols is rooted in the power of sexuality and creativity, her inner landscape is filled with mythological symbols such as vessels, birds, and pyramids. Since 1996, she has worked with computer-generated images, reproduced on large wax canvases and light boxes.
